產品描述

Silicon metal is also called industrial silicon or crystal silicon. It is mainly used in producing organosilicon, high-purity semiconductor materials and manufacturing other alloys as an addictive. In accordance with the content of iron, aluminium and calcium, silicon metal can be divided into 553, 441, 421, 3303, 3302, etc.
Silicon metal is produced in the electric-arc furnace by the reduction of silica by a carbonaceous reducing agent yielding silicon metal and carbon monoxide gas. Such carbonaceous materials as coke, coal, and wood chip are used.
