The Fujifilm FinePix HS35EXR Digital Camera features a 16 megapixel 1/2" Back Side Illuminated EXR CMOS sensor and an EXR Processor to produce high quality imagery and performance throughout the camera system. The combination of these two technologies enables a high sensitivity to ISO 12800, fast continuous shooting up to 11fps, and the integration of EXR Auto to automatically provide optimum shooting settings depending on the scene in which you are photographing. Full HD 1920 x 1080p video at 30fps is also supported and utilizes continuous phase-detection autofocus, with the option of face tracking, during recording.

One of the more notable elements of the HS35EXR is the super telephoto Fujinon 30x optical manual zoom lens, which gives a 35mm-equivalent focal length range of 24-720mm. CMOS-shift type image stabilization benefits this lens by countering the effects of camera shake which can be especially apparent when working with longer focal length lenses. Aspherical and ED elements are incorporated into the lens construction to minimize chromatic aberration and the lens elements also feature a Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating) for reducing lens flare and ghosting.

For image review and monitoring, both a rear LCD monitor and an eye-level electronic viewfinder are available. The 3.0" 460k-dot LCD monitor features a tilting design that facilitates shooting from high and low angles. The electronic viewfinder has a 920k-dot resolution and the eye-level viewing capabilities provide an additional point of contact between yourself and the camera for greater shooting stability.

Amongst other features available, Film Simulation makes use of Fujifilm's extensive history of producing films and enables you to apply certain characteristics to your imagery to mimic the look of certain Fujifilm reversal films. Also available are eight different Advanced Filters to further enhance the aesthetic appearance of your photographs.

4. Fujifilm X20 Digital Camera (Full Black)

The Fujifilm X20 Digital Camera (Full Black) is a compact point and shoot camera featuring a 12 megapixel 2/3" X-Trans CMOS II sensor and an EXR Processor II to provide high quality imagery. The combination of the image sensor and processor enables a sensitivity range to ISO 12800 and also gives quick performance abilities to all aspects of the camera. Fujifilm's proprietary X-Trans sensor uses a unique randomized pixel array in order to avoid the use of a resolution-reducing optical low-pass filter, therefore providing images with the utmost sharpness and clarity. This imaging system is benefitted by the Intelligent Hybrid AF system, which uses both contrast- and phase-detection methods to acquire focus quickly and accurately. Full manual focusing is also possible by using the focus ring on the lens. The built-in lens is a 28-112mm (35mm equivalent) f/2.0-2.8 lens that integrates aspheric, extra-low dispersion, and high-refractive index glass elements to help reduce aberrations and improve image sharpness and quality.

The X20 also incorporates an advanced optical viewfinder to provide real-time, eye-level monitoring. This viewfinder utilizes the thin, transparent Digital Trans Panel for displaying exposure and camera information over the optical viewfinder to enable full-time viewing through the optical viewfinder while being able to modify camera settings. For playback and review of imagery, a 2.8" 460k-dot LCD is also available on the rear of the camera. Menu navigation is done through an intuitive graphical interface, which can be further refined when using the Q (Quick Menu) Button to quickly access essential camera settings.

Full HD movie recording is supported up to 1920 x 1080 at 60fps with a 36Mbps bit-rate for clear, fluid-looking videos. Zoom and focus can be manually controlled during recording, and audio levels, white balance settings, and Film Simulation modes can also be applied to refine the overall appearance of your movies. Film Simulation modes make use of Fujifilm's history of producing both negative and slide films, and allow you to apply those films' characteristics to your digital imagery to better suit your intended look.

The X20's body construction features top and bottom plates that are constructed from die-cast magnesium for additional strength and rigidity while still maintaining the camera's overall light weight. Precision-milled metal dials and a focus ring give tactile satisfaction during use and the synthetic leather wrap affords protection to the body while also providing a high quality overall appearance.

In terms of ISO sensitivity, which enables your camera to pick up more details in low light, the LZ20 ranges up to ISO 6400 in High Sensitivity Mode. It also provides blur prevention with its optical image stabilizer, which is of great help when shooting with the camera's impressive zoom. Ranging from a true wide angle at 25mm all the way to an ultra zoom at 525mm, the optical zoom function on the LZ20 provides its user with a complete range of focal lengths to shoot everything from family and friends to landscapes to detailed close-ups.

With its Intelligent Auto mode, the LZ20 provides the ultimate in ease of operation and error-free shooting. In iA mode, all of the camera's assistive functions- Optical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Scene Selector, and Intelligent Exposure - are integrated to work together. Brightness, shutter speed, red-eye control are all taken care of, your job is to frame your subject as you like and simply let the camera do the work.

This applies to the camera's video function as well! Dynamic HD video is recorded with the ease of pushing a button and with the included PHOTOfunSTUDIO software, videos can be easily edited and uploaded to share with friends and family.

The Lumix LZ20 is a compact camera with a comfortable grip that can easily be carried in your pocket and pulled out for spontaneous shooting, but its 3.0" LCD display is like that of larger cameras and fully able to show off the photos and videos you make with this portable, easy to use gem of a camera.
