Luoyang Pu-Like Bio-Engineering Company Limited is a high-tech private joint stock enterprise with domestic-abroad cooperation, which was dynamically authenticated by the China Ministry of Agriculture in terms of GMP Qualification. The company is affiliated with Luoyang Huizhong strategic alliance enterprise group, and it located in Luoyang High-tech Development Zone, with 491 employees, among whom 87.5% in undergraduate degree, 3 in Ph. D and 35 in master. There are 80 people who won senior researcher.
The Pu-Like company is one of fifty growing high-tech enterprises of Henan province, and it is supporting Institution of Henan Provincial Veterinary Medicine Engineering Center of Technique and Research. The company is the preside unit of “11th Five Year Plan” major projects for science and technology in Henan province. The company took the position of the National Top Ten in Veterinary Biological Products. The Pu-Like company is also one of the manufacture enterprises on Highly Pathogenic Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Symptom Inactivated Vaccine, which was appointed by the China Ministry of Agriculture.
There are 96,000 square meters in acreage in manufacture workshops, however, the floorage occupies 33,500 square meters. The total investment in the fixed assets is 168 million RMB. There are four workshops and nine manufacturing lines on vaccine. The manufacturing lines involved in such as cell culture for live vaccine, allantoic fluid live vaccine, live bacterial vaccine, two cell cultures for inactivated vaccine, two allantoic fluid inactivated vaccine, bacterial inactivated vaccine and yolk immune antibody. There are three workshops and six manufacturing lines in medical drug factory. The products involved in such as freeze-dry powder injection, water solution injection and/or oral liquid, granule, and powder injection. All of them were dynamically authenticated in terms of GMP Qualification. The air purification in workshops reaches to one hundred thousand grades, hundred-degree purification partially, and with absolute negative air pressure. The biological security has reached the highest international level of workshops in animal vaccine products. The company completely imported the set of Millipore filter equipment and technology, and imported the technology of SBC micro-carriers bio-reactor and cell suspension culture. The ph.Eur.rd. 2000 Standard was carried through manufacture in a series of products on golden-grade Pu-Like, which quality has reached into international standard. The Pu-Like company has the complete manufacturing lines in domestic currently, and it is the first enterprise that possesses two manufacturing lines by micro-carriers suspension culture, which are cell culture live vaccine and cell culture inactivated vaccine, respectively.
Henan Provincial Veterinary Medicine Engineering Center of Technique and Research has been built and operated, which supported by Pu-like company. It located in Pu-Like Biological Science and Technique Village. The total investment is 60 million RMB. There are 6,600 square meters and the laboratory animal building is 3,000 square meters. WIt is the first large acreage in domestic. There are 97 employees in the center, among whom 50% in master degree. The center have been developed 5 national new veterinary vaccines such as the Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis, Egg Drop Symptom and Avian Influenza (H9 subtype) United Inactivated Vaccine, the Newcastle Disease, Infectious Bronchitis and Avian Influenza (H9 subtype) United Inactivated Vaccine and some national new veterinary medicines such as Ceftiofur freeze-dry powder for injection. The center presided 8 national, province and local city level programs for science and technology, and won 14 national patents. We have built close cooperative relationship with many research institutes at domestic and abroad such as Switzerland Biological Company, the China Institute of Veterinary Drug Control, the Nanjing Agriculture University, the China Agricultural University. There were been built a working station of the National Post-Doctoral in Scientific Research. The ability of research and new products development will be the leader position in veterinary medicine industry.
