Sichuan Changhong Battery Co., Ltd. (Registered Military Supplier National Factory No.756, established in 1970) subordinated to Sichuan Changhong Electronics Co. Ltd., is the professionally leading developing and manufacturing base of alkaline rechargeable batteries and power system in China. The company is located in the Nanshan Industrial Zone, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province - the Chinese Industrial Science &Technology City and covers an area of more than 198,000 square meters. The company owns various advanced equipment including a full set of sintered plate production line imported from VARTA Germany, advanced assembling lines of cylindrical & prismatic type alkaline rechargeable batteries and the production lines of pasted metal hydride and fully automatic electric power systems. Besides, the company has set up test organizations and laboratories for routine test, including physical & chemical analysis, mechanical vibration test, electromagnetic vibration test, mechanical shock test, and climate & environmental test.
With strong technical background and advanced equipment imported for Germany, Sichuan Changhong Battery Co., Ltd. has become the domestic leading manufacturer of military & civil aviation power systems, the main supplier of the national key projects and the largest industrial developing base of the prismatic type alkaline rechargeable batteries in China. In addition, the company has been awarded as the sole domestic manufacturer of alkaline batteries for civil aviation and marine appliance and the appointed manufacturer of power supply for railway passenger car lighting and locomotive starting. The company has already developed 300 models of Changhong silver-zinc, nickel-cadmium, nickel - metal hydride, nickel-ion and lithium-ion polymer rechargeable batteries, chargers and photovoltaic power systems.
Changhong alkaline rechargeable batteries have long service life, high power density, and excellent performance under high and low temperature, good mechanical strength, smooth discharge voltage, stable performance of rapid charge and discharge, handy maintenance and other more characteristics. Our products are widely applicable for DC power supply of UPS system, AGV, aviation, oil & gas industry (emergency lighting on offshore platforms, cathodic protection for pipelines), substation stand-by power application, railway and light train application (locomotive engine starting, crossing guard, emergency power supply for control and lighting on light train, engine starting, signal control on the ground for track traffic, pantograph lifting on electric locomotive and light train) and photovoltaic power systems.
